La vendetta dell'isola è la quarta stagione del franchise di Total Drama. I tredici nuovi concorrenti che vengono presentati qui sono Anne Maria, B, Brick, Cameron, Dakota, Dawn, Jo, Lightning, Mike, Sam, Scott, Staci e Zoey. Questa nuova stagione ha nuove amicizie, nuove rivalità, nuove relazioni e il più grande dramma fino ad oggi. Tuttavia, la stagione è lunga solo la metà di qualsiasi altra stagione precedente, con soli 13 episodi. Lo scopo di questa stagione non è solo quello di ricominciare tutto da capo, ma di presentare al nuovo cast ciò che i concorrenti più anziani hanno passato prima e di prepararli per Total Drama All-Stars. Tale cambiamento si verificherà di nuovo in Total Drama: Pahkitew Island.
