I soldati assalgono il castello di Fantaghirò per catturare i figli di Caterina e Carolina, ma Romualdo riesce ad allontanare le truppe nemiche dal castello, rimanendo però vittima di un incantesimo: viene tramutato in una statua di pietra che solo il potere di un bacio di Tarabas può riportare alla vita. Fantaghirò decide di mettersi in cammino per trovare Tarabas e durante il suo viaggio arriva in un castello, assediato dalla truppe del malvagio stregone....

Un gruppo di persone sono in piedi lungo la piattaforma della stazione ferroviaria di La Ciotat, in attesa di un treno. Il treno arriva da lontano, finché alla fine si ferma alla piattaforma. Le porte delle vetture si aprono e gli assistenti aiutano i passeggeri a scendere e salire. La leggenda narra che, quando il film fu mostrato la prima volta, il pubblico fuggì dal caffè in preda al terrore, perché convinti che il treno avesse potuto investiti. Anche se si pensa che la leggenda non sia altro che un racconto promozionale, gli spettatori rimasero certamente sbalorditi dalle capacità del cinematografo.

The gardener is surprised and looks into the nozzle to find out why the water has stopped coming. The boy then lifts his foot from the hose, whereby the water squirts up in the gardener's face. The gardener chases the boy, grips his ear and slaps him in his buttocks. The boy then runs away and the gardener continues his watering. Three separate versions of this film exist, this is the original, filmed by Louis Lumière.

Il film è diviso in due parti: la prima storia narra appunto di Bongo, un orsacchiotto ciclista-acrobata, che lascia il circo e si rifugia nel bosco dove s'innamora di un'orsacchiotta di nome Lulubelle. Il nome della storia, Bongo, è lo stesso del protagonista. Nella seconda, intitolata "Mickey and the Beanstalk", Topolino, Paperino e Pippo, come nella fiaba di Jack e il fagiolo magico, raggiungono, arrampicandosi su di una pianta di fagiolo, il regno delle nuvole, dove si trova il castello di un gigante. Il Grillo Parlante appare sottoforma di un presentatore che, ascoltando una canzone, raggiunge un orsacchiotto di peluche ed una bambola, i quali gli raccontano la storia di Bongo.

Kirk e McCoy, saliti a bordo del vascello nemico per prestare aiuto, vengono processati e condannati all'ergastolo nelle terribili miniere del satellite penitenziario di Rura Penthe. Grazie all'aiuto dell'affascinante aliena camaleontide Marthia, riescono pero' a fuggire non prima di aver scoperto che il complotto per eliminare i Klingon vede coinvolti insospettabili membri della federazione.
