Takuya, Masako ed Ando si recano sull'isola e, dopo una serie di peripezie, scoprono che l'intruso non era altro che un monumentale uovo. Essi vengono poi a sapere da due piccole fate che si tratta dell'uovo di Mothra, la divinità dell'antica civiltà Cosmos...
